Static & Patrol Security OfficersThis three day course is designed to assist anyone wishing to gain qualifications needed when applying for an SIA license, the course covers both Unit One, and Unit two (Communication & Conflict Management). The course content complies with the recommended syllabus in the British Standard BS 7499:2002 Static Site Guarding and Mobile Patrol Services. It will also provide some of the underpinning knowledge towards the SNVQ providing Security Services. Who should Attend?The BJT is appropriate to new entrants to the industry; people transferring from other security functions, as well as existing Security Staff who need a qualification in order to apply for an SIA license. Course ContentThe course contains twelve modules, covering the following subject areas.
AssessmentCandidates will be required to pass a multi choice examination paper that covers all of the subject areas listed above.QualificationSuccessful candidates will achieve unit one of the NOCN Award in Security Guarding - Roles And Responsibilities of Security Officers. The full Qualification will be awarded upon successful completion of Unit one and two - Communication and Conflict Management. |
